From Anteaters to Zebras, Animals Are Totally Amazing!

Posted: January 9th, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

I’ve written a book! Oh yeah!

Well, “written” maybe the wrong verb.

More like I’ve illustrated a book. It’s a simple and easy reading book that will help kids learn their ABC’s in a fun and colorful way. Plus, they’ll  get to meet some interesting characters along the way!

You will be able to get a printed version of this cute book from blurb.com. Click here!

It’s a 7×7 hardcover book. I only have a printed version available for purchase, but I will be making an iPad and Tablet eBook version very soon. Hopefully, I will sell it on iTunes and Amazon.

Below is a poster showing all 26 characters from the book. I hope you like it. For a larger view, click on the image.

You can also get a 23×35 large format wall print of these cute little guys. To purchase a poster, click here.

Heineken Advert: The Date

Posted: October 7th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Advertisements | No Comments »

I am so digging this new Heineken commercial called The Date. I love the song, the Goodfellas rip-off enter-through-the-kitchen scene, the band and the dance. A much improved version of their last ad, The Entrance. I don’t know, I guess I never really liked that song and the energy was just a little too slow for me on. I have to give credit to Amsterdam Wieden & Kennedy for creating these. They’re fun.

So more info on their latest ad. Created by Amsterdam Wieden & Kennedy. The song used is called Jaan Pehchann Ho by Mohammed Rafi. It was featured in a Bollywood film called “Gumnaan”, which its dance sequence was featured in the opening scenes of the indie flick “Ghost World” starring Thora Birch, Scarlette Johansson and the great Steve Buscemi. Watch it here.  I think I’m going to start wearing some black eye masks.

Pierce & Pierce T-shirt

Posted: September 29th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

Pierce & Pierce is the fictional firm Patrick Bateman, from American Psycho, works in. If you are a fan of the book or/and the movie, then this is one t-shirt you must have. An update design from a previous tee I had done. It was for the firm’s Squash Team. I’m positive Bateman and Paul Allen’s arse played in opposite teams.

This tee is available in black and white through my Simiansoul.com store. “Eggshell with Romalian type” movie clip. Enjoy!

East Dallas Subway Banner

Posted: August 28th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

Yes, I know, we don’t really have a subway here, we all love our cars too much. But that doesn’t matter because even with out a subway in Dallas we can still have some cool signs around here.  This piece was inspired by the old NYC subway signs or those bus scrolls, but with an East Dallas twist. I hope you like it. And if you’re not living in East Dallas, think about moving — it’s the coolest part of Dallas.

The banner is printed on a flat canvas and ships rolled in a tube. It’s 18 in x 48 in. A nice large size that’s sure to be the focal point where ever you decide to hang it. If you would like to get your hands on one of these beautes, email me for price and shipping info. walter@sozadesigns.com

I also do custom signage, so if these East Dallas location are not your cup of tee and you want something a lil’ different, I can create something that’s more you. Except uptown. I won’t touch that with a 10 inch pole. I’m kidding, I love uptown.

Grazie.

UPDATE: You cab now purchase this piece through my Etsy store HERE.

TCU Football 2010 Perfect Season

Posted: August 25th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Posters | No Comments »

College football will soon be ruling Saturdays once again, and I, a Horned Frog Football hard-core fan (those of you who know me know exactly how hard-core I am), will be glued to my 129″ plasma TV, screaming and hollering for them Frogs. Move those chains!

I hope TCU has another great football season like last years. That was brilliant. So let’s cheer for those boys and let’s get another championship trophy under our belts.

Anyhow, below is a poster/banner I designed commemorating last year’s perfect season. I will have these for sale, so if you’re interested in getting one, please email me. walter@sozadesigns.com. This is a 20″ x 48″ canvas banner. It’s a perfect addition to your Horned Frog game room. You can put it next to your other TCU Football poster.

Update: This banner is now available through my Etsy store.
