Gorgeous photography stills of modern architecture interiors (mostly from Dwell Magazine) and brilliant sarcastic copywriting. Put the two together and you’ve got Unhappy Hipsters. Via swissmiss.
I agree with that. I also think that everything you create — even if it’s an “exact” copy— is original. Somewhere in that “copy” there lies a difference, hence a brand new creation. Check out the poster below. If anyone knows who created it, please, let me know. Great quote from director Jim Jarmusch.
If you like movies (like me) and love posters (like me) then take a look at this blog entry by the folks at The Auteurs and their top movie poster of the decade list. They’ve included some interesting choices, some I agree wholeheartedly with, and some I don’t. Either way, it’s a nice list to browse through. If you like movie posters, check out here, and here and here. If you just love film, this is a great blog for you. ilovehotdogs.
I have been working on creating a whole identity package for a business called THE BEHAVIOR EXCHANGE. They specialize in helping children with special needs assimilate to society through the use of applied behavior analysis. For its identity, I wanted to create something fun, bright, and hopeful. I’ve also designed/created a iconic character, Buddy The Bee, who I hope becomes a spoke-person (spoke-bee) for The Behavior Exchange. Below are some posters and calendars.
I thought this was pretty cool. Classic literature presented in classsic packaging — the cigarrette package. These lit-gems come in all their flip-top, silver-foil-wrap and cellophane-sealed glory. Ahhh, now you’re in flavor country. Enjoy, but remember, smoking kills. Via oneplusinfinity.
