With an impressive 54-14 record, the second-most wins in division 1, and with a final ranking of 3rd place, TCU Baseball team wrapped up it’s 2010 season as the most successful in the team’s long history.

The Frogs reached their first-ever College World Series berth after defeating the UT Longhorns in the NCAA Super Regionals. Their CWS debut was impressive, with an 8-1 win over Florida State. After wards the Frogs faced UCLA where they lost 6-2 sliding them into loser’s bracket. No worries though, TCU’s line up would prove resilient. With a rematch against FSU, the Frogs were the superior team with a 8th-inning rally that helped lift the Frogs over a 7-2 deficit to a 11-7 victory. Once again, they face the Bruins of UCLA where the rematch proved to be in TCU favor with a 6-2 win, setting them up with a do-or-die game once more with UCLA. This time, it’s was the Bruins who would come out on top, ending TCU’s most successful season in school history.

Below is a poster I designed in honor of this historic 2010 run. Well done guys, made all of us proud. Go Frogs.
