HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I wanted to share this 2012 Calendar I designed. All photography used in the calendar are photos taken either by me or by my wife during our vacation trips this past year. It was quite the year. Here’s to 2012. Hope it’s a good one.

Sedona Arizona sits about 26 miles south of Flagstaff, 114 miles north of Phoenix. If you are ever inclined to visit this amazing city, I suggest driving down from Flagstaff, AZ. From here, you’ll descend roughly 2600 feet down from the Ponderosa Pine Forest to the bottom of Oak Creek Canyon. Keep your eyes out on the road and the amazing vistas. As the road meanders though some steep hills and hair-pin curves, be sure to take your time—for safety as well as enjoyment. Once in Sedona, you can’t help but be amazed by the stunning Red Rock formations, some of them rising up some 7000ft.
Below are some pictures both my wife and I took while we vacationed there. The pictures you’ll see here have been through some amateur photoshop post-production. We used the Nikon D-90 camera, with a AF-S Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 ED lens. An awesome camera and lens. I’m still getting used to the bell-and-whistles of the camera, but from what we were able to capture, I’d say this is a good start. I hope you enjoy these. For a larger, better look of each of the photos, all you have to do is click on each one. Simple. Even your grandma can do it.*

* No offense to any grandmas out there.
