Ahhh, the elusive professional promotion, a rite of passage.

For all of you who’ve been promoted, you know this is a time to celebrate. And rightly so. It’s an occasion worthy of a 24-pack of NattyLight! And just like any occasion, this one too deserves a flashy card. In collaboration with SurlyZ, we’ve created such a card.

FYI, this is a Rated R card. No one under 18 is admitted to see it. Also, if you’re offended by obscene language, you may want to keep moving along.

This is for all the hard working women of the world. I think the only missing from here is…money. I love this “Helvetica list” design. Oh! Helvetica, how I love thee. I’ve written a book! Oh yeah!

Well, “written” maybe the wrong verb.

More like I’ve illustrated a book. It’s a simple and easy reading book that will help kids learn their ABC’s in a fun and colorful way. Plus, they’ll get to meet some interesting characters along the way!

It’s a 7×7 hardcover book. I only have a printed version available for purchase, but I will be making an iPad and Tablet eBook version very soon. Hopefully, I will sell it on iTunes and Amazon.

Pierce & Pierce T-shirt

Pierce & Pierce is the fictional firm Patrick Bateman, from American Psycho, works in. If you are a fan of the book or/and the movie, then this is one t-shirt you must have. An update design from a previous tee I had done. It was for the firm’s Squash Team. I’m positive Bateman and Paul Allen’s arse played in opposite teams.

East Dallas Subway Banner

Yes, I know, we don’t really have a subway here, we all love our cars too much. But that doesn’t matter because even with out a subway in Dallas we can still have some cool signs around here. This piece was inspired by the old NYC subway signs or those bus scrolls, but with an East Dallas twist. I hope you like it. And if you’re not living in East Dallas, think about moving — it’s the coolest part of Dallas.

The banner is printed on a flat canvas and ships rolled in a tube. It’s 18 in x 48 in. A nice large size that’s sure to be the focal point where ever you decide to hang it. If you would like to get your hands on one of these beautes, email me for price and shipping info. walter@sozadesigns.com

East Dallas t-shirt

I just picked up my East Dallas Original shirts from the printers yesterday. I think they came out pretty nice. What do you think?

These are 100% cotton tees, soft cotton with a tight weave patter. The silk-screen was done with a thinner ink so it doesn’t feel rubbery like a lot of silk-screened tees you get out there. I’ll have these for sale on the next DEOM (Deep Ellum Out Door Market) so stop by if you wanna get yerself one. Size available are Medium, Large, X-Large and a few 2XLs. Quantitative are limited. Each shirt is under $20! A bargain.
